Very excited and honoured to have my self-portrait, titled ‘Me3 & Eye” chosen as a semi-finalist for the 2017 portrait prize.

Doug Moran National Portrait Prize judging continued with the top 30 being exhibited at Juniper Hall in Sydney.

Congratulations to all finalists. I will have another go next year!


RSASA Characters of the Fleurieu

RSASA Characters of the Fleurieu

The exhibition was held at the Signal Point Gallery, The Wharf, Goolwa SA.

Am thrilled to say I was chosen in 4th place from 100 talented artists.

My entry titled ‘Just Jack’ was Jack Condous, the Chair of the RSASA Characters of the Fleurieu planning committee and featured graphite on paper.


2007 Grylls Regional Art Prize

2007 Grylls Regional Art Prize

Proud to say I won the People’s Choice Prize for ‘Harts Range’.

Entries were only open to residents of the Wheatbelt and was hailed as a celebration of art in the bush. 38 local artist exhibited a total of 119 paintings with many varied medium and styles.

It was held in the Country Nostalgia Gallery in Merredin.


Katanning Art Prize 2005

Katanning Art Prize 2005
1st – 8th October 2005

The Exhibition featured 118 works in 6 categories. In the Great Southern Ag section my painting ‘Badgebup Sunrise’ was selected in first place. It depicted a sheep yard scene looking out of a shearing shed and as this was an acquisitive art prize this painting is now hanging at the local Agricultural office in Katanning.

The Advocate Central Australian Art Award 2005

While living and working in Alice Springs I entered 2 paintings in this art award and not only did I win second prize, one of my painting sold. It was titled ‘True Colours” and was of Ayres Rock. I have since painted many more of this iconic landmark. The desert colours are definitely my favourite.
